Windows chief Steven Sinofsky has left Microsoft after 23 years. Windows 8 was his crowning achievement: it introduced a touch-ready interface to Windows and has positioned Microsoft to take on the iPad and other tablets. Here is Sinofsky introducing Windows 8 to the world a couple weeks ago.
